Specific Media Promotes Bill Schild to Regional Vice President, East Coast Sales
Irvine, Calif. -- August 18, 2008 -- Specific Media, the largest independent online advertising network, announced today that Bill Schild has been promoted to regional vice president of East Coast sales. In his new role, Schild will oversee sales and operations initiatives throughout the Southeast region, in addition to his current responsibilities leading the company's New York and Boston offices.
Schild will apply more than 10 years of media experience to educate clients and prospects on key differentiators that set Specific Media apart in the industry, including the company's innovative targeting technologies that remove inefficiencies from the media buying process by targeting consumers rather than content. Schild will also be tasked with growing the Specific Media sales force throughout the Eastern region and equipping it with the tools necessary to meet the company's aggressive growth plans.

In February, Specific Media announced a record-breaking annual revenue increase of more than 300 percent. Schild was charged with opening and growing the Specific Media Boston office to meet client demand in that region, and his efforts in Boston and New York were an instrumental part of the company's monumental growth.

Prior to joining Specific Media in January of 2007, Schild served as director of West Coast sales for Monster.com, where he was responsible for building the sales team, expanding the client base and increasing revenue. He has worked with media properties of all sizes, including The Walt Disney Companies, Lycos and Salesforce.com. Bill holds an Accounting degree from the University of Florida and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University Business School.
