Specific Media Appoints Vice President of Marketing
Irvine, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- March 7, 2006 -- Specific Media, an innovative technology and online media company that provides advanced audience targeting capabilities to online advertisers, announced the appointment of Christine Schoultz to the position of vice president of marketing today.
Schoultz will lead the company's marketing initiatives with an emphasis on product marketing, demand generation, partner marketing, media relations and marketing communications. She replaces Tom Hernandez, the current vice president of business development and marketing, who has taken on a specialized role within the organization. As continuing vice president of business development, Hernandez will focus on developing and managing key partnerships for the growing organization.

Schoultz has more than 15 years of marketing and executive management experience. Most recently, she was director of marketing for Interchange Corporation. At Interchange, Schoultz was responsible for launching their online local search products including Local.com. Prior to Interchange, she held director of marketing roles at telecommunications companies such as TMC Communications and XO Communications. At XO, she was among the first fifty employees and helped grow the business into a billion dollar organization over a six-year period. Schoultz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Eastern Washington University.
