Specific Media to Expand Operations in Midwest and Eastern Regions; Appoints Perry Nusbaum to Vice President of Sales, Eastern U.S.
Primary Agenda to Grow Sales Team and Open New Office Locations
Irvine, Calif. and New York -- January 24, 2006 -- Due to increased demand by online media and marketing professionals for its leading-edge behavioral, contextual and demographic targeting technology, Specific Media today announced plans to open an office in Chicago and increase staffing in New York. Perry Nusbaum has been promoted to vice president of sales, eastern U.S., effective immediately to lead the expansion. Nusbaum previously was the sales director of the New York office.
In addition to staffing and opening the Chicago office, Nusbaum will continue to expand sales and operations in the eastern region headquarters in New York. Additional account executives and media buyers have been added in the last month alone. "Perry has done a terrific job building the eastern region to deliver sophisticated online advertising solutions to our rapidly expanding client roster," said Specific Media CEO Tim Vanderhook. "His extensive industry knowledge and leadership in servicing ad agencies, direct and brand marketers set the standard for all future hires."

Nusbaum has over 14 years of online sales, marketing and management experience. Prior to opening the New York office for Specific Media in 2004, he held the positions of senior account executive at 24/7 Real Media and senior director-business development for United Online. Previous to his online advertising career, Nusbaum founded The Head Gear Company, a provider of electronic listening products for patrons of live events. In 1997 he was nominated for Ernst and Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Nusbaum has an undergraduate degree in history from State University of New York, Albany and holds a J.D. from Albany Law School.
