Senior Java Software Engineer sought by Interactive Media Holdings, Inc. (dba, Specific Media).
Duties and Requirements:
Within the Core Ad Platform Group, lead software engineering in all phases of SW module design/development using Java & Distributed technologies in order to accrue user behavior data for targeting Specific Media ads. Perform other related duties.
MSCS or related major. 1 year experience as a SW Engineer or in related jobs. Experience in the following:
- reviewing SW design using algorithm analysis & evaluation
- designing/implementing asynchronous, high-performance multi-threaded large scalable db systems & back-end web applications
- implementing Cloud computing modules & solutions using Hadoop Pig, Hadoop Hive & other Cloud computing technologies, as well as Voldemort, Cassandra or other Distributed technologies
- conducting source-code editing, SW testing/validation, &/or formal code review using Java technologies (i.e. J2EE, Servlet and JSP), & other web development programming tools
- designing/developing SW modules.
